StellarCal is run by Vanilla Ventures B.V., Riouwstraat 71A, 1094 XJ Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This page explains what we keep about you and why. Short version: only what we need to make your calendar, nothing sold, nothing shared for advertising, no tracking cookies.

What we keep

  • Your date, time and place of birth, and the chart and dates we calculate from them.
  • Your email address and, if you give it, your first name.
  • For a full reading: the text we write for you, and a record of the payment (amount, date, a Stripe reference). We never see your card or bank details.
  • For a gift: the names, email addresses and note you enter, and the day you chose.
  • For friend invites: a random invite code, how often it was opened, and whether someone made a chart through it. We never receive your friend's email address; you invite them from your own calendar.

Why

To calculate your chart, show your personal page, serve your calendar feed, write your reading, and send you the mails you ask for. The legal basis is the agreement you enter by using the service (GDPR article 6(1)(b)). Your page link works like a key: anyone with the link can see your page, so share it with care.

Who processes it for us

  • Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database), in the EU where available.
  • Resend (sending email).
  • Stripe (payments).
  • Anthropic (writing the full reading from your chart; not used to train models).
  • OpenStreetMap services Photon and Nominatim (looking up your place of birth).

How long

We keep your chart for as long as your page exists. Ask us and we delete everything within 30 days, except payment records we must keep for tax law (seven years).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Mail hello@stellarcal.com.

Cookies

We set two functional cookies: one that remembers which price you were shown, and one that remembers which creator sent you, so they get credit. No analytics or advertising cookies.
